Vice-President Joe Biden made commendable decision must support Mrs. Clinton

Mrs. Hillary Clinton posted a chapter of her book "Hard Choices" on line published by Simon and Schuster. In the narrative posted, she describes the day on September 11, 2012 when Ambassador Chris Stevens and his colleagues were murdered in Benghazi, Libya.

Regardless of how Republicans have vainly tried to discredit Hillary Clinton, she always - always comes out of the right wing created scandals as innocent as she claimed to be, when conspirators began their witch hunts.

In fact, Mrs. Clinton withstood formidable adversaries and preposterously created scandals. Nevertheless, she's been on the side of caring for the American people without regard for right wing conspiracy nuts who waste their time to discredit her amazing leadership skills.

As a result of the latest myth busting information, about how the Benghazi brouhaha was manufactured to bring down Mrs. Clinton's popularity polls, added to the Bernie Sanders clarion call to "forget the damn emails", it's time Democrats finally stand behind her presidential candidacy, rather than to compete with her.

Today, Vice-President Joe Biden finally decided to be among the Democrats who will not compete with Mrs. Clinton's campaign to become the nation's first female president.

Vice President Biden said today that he will not run for president in 2016. This is a well thought out, but wise decision. By removing his name from the 2016 competitors roster, Vice President Biden has provided one less obstacle to having Mrs. Clinton nominated to be the first woman president of the United States.

With his support for Mrs. Clinton's candidacy, the Vice President has raised the bar on statesmanship. Certainly Biden would've created a formidable challenge to Mrs. Clinton's candidacy, but he took the political road less traveled. Most Vice-Presidents with Biden's considerable experience and credibility would grab the brass ring offered by a run for the office of president. Instead, Biden accepted the reality he was dealt. He simply can't run for president. His timing was wrong and, frankly, his unintentional gaffs were more damaging than the muckraking Mrs. Clinton has endured. As has been demonstrated, Clinton's invented scandals are eventually revealed as being politically motivated. On the other hand, Biden's frequent gaff's are real time comedies....or tragedies, depending on the situations.

Also, by starting a campaign so late, Biden would face significant obstacles in raising the millions of dollars needed to give him a chance to win, and in setting up grassroots political organizations to wage the nomination fight across the nation.

Clinton, however, had only praise for Biden, describing him in a Tweet as "a good friend and a great man. Today and always, inspired by his optimism and commitment to change the world for the better," she wrote. "She signed the Tweet "--H" signifying that she, and not a campaign aide, composed the message.

Thank you Vice-President Biden. Your decision was well thought, heartfelt and correct.
