Hot on Twitter - When Obama's speech ended, Google searches for "register to vote" doubled nationwide. We built that.

RT  When Obama's speech ended, Google searches for "register to vote" doubled nationwide.

Maine Writer Blog, written post the Charlotte NC, DNC, summarized President Obama's acceptance speech as a rally to voters.
"Go and Vote!"

It's effective when politicians reach out and say, "I appreciate your vote", "Please vote for me", "I need your vote".

This is what elections are all about.

In other words, if our country is to move Forward, we must get out and vote for President Obama.  Apparently, the President's request resonated, as per the hot twitter topic today (cut and pasted above).

Undecided Virginia voters who appeared on the PBS NewsHour and spoke ambiguously about their response to President Obama's speech, should re-read President Obama's speech before claiming there are no specifics in his plan for moving Forward.

Here's the transcript link to President Obama's speech:

President Obama certainly did articulate how our nation can build a strong middle class economy. He said we must invest in the following specific list:

1. Education

2. Manufacturing

3. Energy

4. National Security

5. Deficit reduction

Moreover, President Obama said:
"But when all is said and done, when you pick up that ballot to vote, you will face the clearest choice of any time in a generation. Over the next few years big decisions will be made in Washington on jobs, the economy, taxes and deficits, energy, education, war and peace — decisions that will have a huge impact on our lives and on our children's lives for decades to come."

It's unbelievable to me that many undecided Americans still can't figure out how a right wing Republican administration under Mitt Romney will move our nation backward.

If anybody needs proof of the regressive impact Republican Romney-Ryan economics, they need to remember President Clinton's analysis of  past GOP leadership. He said, "Well since 1961, the Republicans have held the White House 28 years, the Democrats 24. In those 52 years, our economy produced 66 million private sector jobs. What's the jobs score? Republicans 24 million, Democrats 42 million!"

We must accept President Obama's clarion call to vote. I hope you reading this are registered and able to vote.
