Donald Trump and maga Republicans create hypocritical myths about "Democratic Socialists" when the greedy GOP want to control the economy

We need less Chicken 🐔Little when it comes to Democratic Socialists.  🐔🙄

‘Political control over the economy is anathema* to capitalism and a free market. So let’s be fair in our media coverage about what communism and socialism are and have less of the sky is falling,’ the letter writer says.  (*anathema: something or someone that you intensely dislike, loathe, or strongly disapprove of.)

There’s a recent hyper-clamor and hysteria about "those Democratic Socialists". Lots of hypocritical hyperbole: “Democrats are 🤥socialists who want to destroy our country.” And so the beat goes on. Most fail the test of reality and lack facts and credibility. 

Of the hundreds of Democrats who ran for elective office only a few are Democratic socialists. With few exceptions most ran in deeply blue districts. Chicken Little and his pals who panicked on an unfounded “the sky has falling” story didn’t fare well at the end. Facts matter. 

To digress, “What’s good for the goose is good for the gander:” What about the Trump administration❓ As one author stated, “He has crossed the Rubicon.”

Donald Trump has taken a playbook out of Communism 101. Central, government control versus our founding fathers who built our nation on liberty, equality, private property and a free press. Trump’s government owns a part of 31 private and public companies. Of Nippon Steel, they own a “Gold Share,” which gives the government veto powers. Trump enacted sweeping tariffs. 

Political control over the economy is anathema to capitalism and a free market. So let’s be fair in our coverage of communism and socialism and have less of the sky is falling.
