Republicans want to institutionalize evil Project 2025 to destroy democracy and create a Viktor Orbán autocracy

Echo opinion letter published in the Boston Globe:

Response❗ “Project 2025 isn’t going away”💥 (Opinion, Sept. 28): Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation, shamelessly admits the organization wants to “institutionalize Trumpism.” What could that mean other than substituting blatant, corrosive lies for the truth, everywhere?

Republicans want to institutionalize Trumpziism as described in Project 2025

The “heritage” this Orwellian-named, transparent propaganda arm of the GOP 🐘 actually promotes is a sordid history of right-wing duplicity, voter suppression, and bad faith. Consider what its cofounder Paul Weyrich once said: “I don’t want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people … As a matter of fact our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down.”


Conservatism as practiced by such cynics is a movement of reactionary apologists for wealth and privilege. Their fever dream is to cancel Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid while unleashing even more corporate fraud upon the body politic, returning us to the days of the 19th-century robber barons.

Project 2025, is a plan to transform the United States into an autocracy akin to what Donald Trump’s hero Viktor Orbán did to Hungary. Americans need to make sure that does not happen by electing Kamala Harris decisively on Nov. 5. #VoteBlue
