Republicans continue to blame others for their internal failures!
Echo opinion published in The Berkshire Eagle: What goes around comes around for former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy:
To the editor: When Kevin McCarthy was voted as Speaker of the House (after 15 rounds of votes!), I remember him standing live in front of the cameras saying, "We've fired Nancy Pelosi."
Well, how does it feel having the shoe on the other foot?
I hate to think what Trumpian will be chosen to lead the House next. But I'm glad at least one's been booted out.
In the meantime, good riddance to Kevin McCarthy. I hope he fades from public view and never reappears.

(Rather than focus on governing the Republicans lash out in meaningless rhetoric against political windmills!)
Rather than working to help the American people the Republicans are busy attacking political windmills. |
How does it feel with something going around coming around?
A brilliant composer by the name of Joe Raposo, who wrote lots of children's songs until his death in 1989, had a song that said, "When beautiful is how you think, that's what I see."
And in Kevin McCarthy and all those Republicans on Capitol Hill, I see nothing but pure ugliness. The worst of all insanity. In no way beautiful.
I've seen 3-year-olds and preschoolers show more maturity than those people. And their determination to stop the funding for Ukraine (❗💜💛 😩), I feel, is the sickest, most selfish, insensitive, inconsiderate, unhuman 😰💀thing they could ever want.

Although I'm not saying the Democrats are perfect, at least they think of those in need first.

I'm just sorry Nancy Pelosi can't get back in as House Speaker now. Wouldn't that be nice? But she plans on running for reelection to the House in 2024, and I totally support her. Go for it, Nancy.
