SANTE FE, NM- This is how the American Health Care Act (AHCA) and the Republican plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act, will adversely impact New Mexicans:

• The average monthly premium for insurance will increase to $619 in 2018;

• 136,800 New Mexicans will lose total health insurance coverage;

• 108,000 New Mexicans will lose Medicaid coverage;

• 15,000 New Mexicans will lose Employer-Sponsored coverage;

• 13,800 New Mexicans will lose Individual Market coverage.
