Donald Trump international speak uses 3rd grade words

Although candidate Donald Trump's incendiary rhetoric is dangerous, his third grade level language is also worrisome, because he uses simple and short words to describe concepts that are extremely complicated.  

Donald Trump talks like an elemntary school student. but the concepts he communicates, like international terrorism, are far more complex than his simplton incendiary rhetoric describes.

Indeed, Trump calls the self declared "evil ISIS" caliphate "bad". Well, yes, in fact, ISIS surely is evil and that makes the self declared Caliphate state "bad".  

So, Donald Trump, why tell us something that we already know! 
After identifying evil ISIS as being "bad", then Trump says "water boarding" might win the war against the terrorist group.  This simple language and even simpler reasoning doesn't improve our understanding about how to defeat evil- ISIS. Moreover, the idea that using "water boarding" torture will somehow magically defeat evil ISIS, is plainly stupid. In fact, the use of water boarding will do virtually and literally nothing to defeat the evil ISIS. Torture only impacts one person at a time and the victims say whatever they need to, as a way to stop their pain.

Trump talks like a simpleton. 

If you were to market Donald Trump’s vocabulary as a toy, it would resemble a small box of Lincoln Logs. 

Trump resists multisyllabic words and complex sentence constructions when speaking extemporaneously in a debate, at a news conference or in an interview. He prefers to link short, blocky words into other short, blocky words to create short, blocky sentences that he then stacks into short, blocky paragraphs.

The end result of Trump’s word choice is less the stripped-down prose style of Ernest Hemingway than it is a spontaneous reinvention of Ogden’s Basic English, the pared-down lexicon of 850 words selected by early 20th century linguist/philosopher C.K. Ogden as the bedrock of a new world language. 

In the August 6th Republican candidates debate, Trump answered the moderators’ questions with linguistic austerity. (linguistic austerity?) OMG, surely, people who follow candidate Donald Trump can't continue to believe he can re-make the world with 3rd grade language? If they do, they're dangerously wrong.

Run through the Flesch-Kincaid grade-level test, his text of responses score at the 4th-grade reading level. For Trump, that’s actually pretty advanced. All the other candidates rated higher, with Ted Cruz earning 9th-grade status. Ben Carson, Mike Huckabee, and Scott Walker scored at the 8th-grade level. John Kasich, the next-lowest after Trump, got a 5th-grade score.

(It's time for candidate Donald Trump to explain his vision for making "his version" of America "great again". Three letter words won't make the US nation great again. Rather, simple words only makes all Americans look as stupid as Trump.)

Iternational terrorism accelerates while US economy is in recovery

When President Obama was elected to his first term, he won the election on the crest of The Great Recession 2007. That's when swift, albeit reluctant, intervention by the President George Bush '43 administration did what was needed to avoid another Great Depression, a dismal rerun of the 1930s. 

President Obama had the political wind at his back at the time, when Americans were understandably skeptical about electing another Republican presidential executive.

It's taken almost eight years, nearly two presidential terms, for Americans to feel like The Great Recession is finally fading into economic history. Nevertheless, while America is finally going back to work, the rise of international terrorism is sucking the exuberance out of celebrating about the economic recovery. Expensive and extraordinary security at government agencies, tourist destinations, on the airlines, in airports and in dense population areas are costing Americans untold billions of dollars.
This is now "the new normal". 

Unfortunately, the dismal 2007 economy wasn't the only situation President Obama inherited. As a matter of fact, the rise of the evil ISIS, the Islamic State, aka "state of fear", is correlated with the failure of Operation Iraqi Freedom or the Iraq War, an invasion without cause, launched by President George Bush '43.  

As a result of toppling Saddam Hussein, the US called the war over, after setting up a new government. Unfortunately, the peace plan, and government failed and the vacuum created by  the lack of leadership contributed to the rise of the ISIS terrorist group.

Today, the US economy is getting stronger. Yet, although not directly correlated, the evil ISIS, also, is apparantly expanding its influence. Gruesome ISIS exuctions were conducted on videos, but have been supplanted by the evil terrorist group extending its reach with barbaric attacks outside of their Syrian base of operations. 

Evil ISIS has taken credit for the horrible bombing of an innocent Russian passenger Metrojet, flying over Egypt's Sinai Penninsula.

Investigators who pinpointed the exact location of a bomb that brought down a Russian jet said it was planted under the seat of a 15-year-old girl.

The blast over Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula killed all 224 people on board, but no one got it worse than Maria Ivleva, a 15-year-old girl who was traveling with her mother when a bomb ripped apart the plane 23 minutes after leaving Sharm el-Sheikh — a resort that 3 million Russians visit every year. The Metrojet was en-route to St Petersburg.

On November 13, 2015, the evil ISIS claimed responsibility for killing hundreds of innocent people in Paris, France.

President Obama isn't receiving enough credit for leading our nation's economic recovery after the George Bush Republican fiscal catastrophes. Unfortunately, the daunting war on terrorism continues to challenge the world's leaders. Moreover, President Obama is walking a political tight rope by attempting to deal with the consequences of his predecessors horrific international blunder, caused largely by the failed invasion of Iraq.

Obviously, President Obama isn't running for re-election; but when Republican candidates denegrate his economic leadership, they should abruptly be reminded of who the executive was at the time the US economy nearly collapsed.  

Likewise, Republicans need to remember why America is immersed in the daunting war on terrorism. In other words, if President George Bush '43 had focused his intention to take the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden "dead or alive",  rather than invade Iraq, it's possible the evil ISIS wouldn't have had the leverage created when Operation Iraqi Freedom failed.

Indeed, President Obama has been challenged by the two sides of the word "crises", meaning "opportunity" and "challenge". Apparantly, President Obama is the beneficiary of the economic recovery caused by Republican fiscal irresponsibility; but he has also been challenged by a war his predessor launched. 

Democrats must remind Americans about the consequences of the failed Republican Bush administraton. Democrats must also take credit for the nation's economic recovery, while pointing out why it is the world is consumed with terrorism, perpetrated by evil ISIS. 

Meanwhile, our nation is spending billions (maybe even a trillion) of dollars on national security because there is no cohesive plan about how to win against terrorism.

Our nation's economic recovery, unfortunately, is hiding in the shadows of the fear of international terrorism.  Both of these issues were fueled by failed Republican political leadership. Democrats need to keep the causes of both issues in the forefront of voters minds, during the 2016 presidential campaigns.

Jeb! Totally wrong about his brother's failed Operation Irqai Freedom

Jeb!- Bushy-boy blames Hillary Clinton and Obama for Iraq’s Decline.  Jeb! is flatly telling lies when he claimed the Clinton and the Bush administrations caused the rise of "evil-ISIS", the fundamentalist radical Muslim terrorist group, now reigning carnage in Syria and Iraq.  
In fact, it was Jeb!'s brother George Bush (president #43) who formed the matrix whereby ISIS grew like germs in a culture dish. Bush launched Operation Iraqi Freedom, but the war failed to bring peace to the nation after the fall of Saddam Hussein. 

As a result, the American presence in Iraq grew to defend the invasion. As a result, the situation caused religious panic among radical Muslims, who feared the impact of western influence in their medieval culture.

Sadly, nothing has changed in Iraq since the George Bush #43 led invasion in the failed Operation Iraqi Freedom. In fact, the henious market place suicide bombings are recurring with ferocity.

Iraqi capital sees fresh round of deadly bombings

At least 20 people have been killed and many others injured in a spate of bomb attacks in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and two nearby towns. The most deadly was caused by a car bomb in the mainly Shia Sadr City area.

The same district was hit by a massive truck bomb two days ago that killed more than 60 people and was claimed by Islamic State militants.

Sadr City has been the target of several bomb attacks this year claimed by (evil ISIS)- IS who consider Shia to be heretics.

Saturday's attack targeted a vehicle market in the Habibiya area of Sadr City which had been targeted multiple times in the past, AP news agency said.

Fifteen people were killed and a further 35 injured, officials said.

A police officer told the agency that CCTV "showed a man parking a white car and sneaking into a nearby tea kiosk. Five minutes later the car exploded."

No group has admitted the bombing so far.

Other attacks took place in the town of Madain, just south of Baghdad, and Taji to the north, as well as in two suburbs of the capital.

In recent months, dozens of people have been killed in bombings across Baghdad. In May and July, large car bombs exploded outside two prominent hotels.

Earlier in the week, a top American general said the US should consider embedding American troops with Iraqi forces if progress was not made in the fight against IS.

Raymond Odierno, the army's outgoing chief of staff, told reporters that such forces would have a support rather than a combat role.

SIMI VALLEY, Calif. — The war in Iraq, which dominated American presidential politics in 2004 and 2008, has returned as an issue in 2016. This time, the argument is not over whether the United States should have gone to war, but rather how the Obama administration sought to end it.

Yes, let's get this right. Evil ISIS has taken the Iraq cities of Tikrit, and Ramadi. Unbelievably, they're even taken the Syrian ancient city of Palmyra from President Assad's defenses. Now, it's reported ISIS has taken responsibility for an attack on a Shia mosque in Saudi Arabia! 

Nevertheless, Presidential wanna-bee Senator Rand Paul is obsessed about the U.S. Patriot Act, a policy implemented by Republican President George W. Bush, post the September 11, 2001 attacks on the US in New York City and Washington DC. 

In other words, Senator Paul doesn't want to renew the policy.

Obviously, Senator Rand Paul forget what happened on 9-11. Not only is he a political myopic, he's also an amnesiac.

Rand is a myopic wanna-bee president and a political regressive. Rather than use his influence as a US Senator to improve the human condition, he is focused on his own egotistical regressive vision of the world according to him.

BBC News reports: Saudi Arabia attack: Islamic State claims Shia mosque bombing

The Islamic State (IS) group says it was behind a suicide bombing on a Shia mosque in Saudi Arabia that killed at least 21 people.

The attack in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province is the first to be claimed by the Saudi branch of IS, which was formally established last November.

The claim was posted on Twitter with an image of the bomber by an account that is a reliable source on the group.

IS has previously threatened to attack Shia Muslims in Saudi Arabia.

Witnesses reported a huge blast at the Imam Ali mosque in the village of al-Qadeeh, in Qatif governorate during Friday prayers.

The Saudi health minister told state television that at least 21 people had been killed and more than 80 injured in the blast.

A doctor at the hospital said that some people had been wounded "very critically".

'Terrorist crime'

Television pictures of the bombing showed shattered glass and debris inside the mosque, where scores were said to have been praying.

A spokesman for the Saudi interior ministry said the bomber detonated a suicide belt inside the mosque, causing a number of people to be "martyred or wounded".

"Security authorities will spare no effort in the pursuit of all those involved in this terrorist crime," the official said in a statement carried by state news agency SPA.

Evil ISIS (Islamic State) has blown it with Japan and neighbor Jordan

ISIS has not produced evidence of life for captured Jordanian pilot.

If evil ISIS (the non-Islamic State of middle east terrorist militants) has a prisoner to trade, they'd better produce this exchange or risk creating yet another world enemy in their Jordanian neighbor. If ISIS can't produce the Jordanian pilot being held as a captive, who is requested as a trade for a female suicide bomber who's now on death row, then the ISIS militants will have enlisted yet another world enemy in Jordan.

Where's the Jordanian prisoner pilot? Surely, he would've been in the ISIS video with the Japanese prisoner, requesting the release of the (failed) suicide woman bomber, but he's not. Although the Jordanian pilot is generating anti war feelings among his nation, the issue might backfire if the ISIS terrorists are unable to provide proof of life of the two hostages (Japanese and Jordanian).

Jordan has refused to pull the trigger on a prisoner swap, saying it lacked proof the pilot held by Islamic State jihadists was still alive. Jordan says its role in the US-led coalition has not diminished.

AMMAN, JORDAN — The ongoing drama of a Jordanian pilot held hostage by the Islamic State has escalated into a political crisis for King Abdullah II, threatening the position of a stalwart US ally and leading player in the coalition against the jihadist group. Jordanians have been gripped by the detention of Lt. Muath Kassasbeh, whose fighter jet crashed near Raqqa, Syria on Dec. 24.

A sunset deadline passed Thursday with the government refusing to pull the trigger on a prisoner swap with the jihadist movement, saying IS had failed to provide proof Lt. Kassasbeh was still alive and well. Rather than blame IS (the evil Islamic State) for the protracted hostage crisis, the public at large and members of the pilot’s family have turned on the government. They are hitting the streets and faulting Amman for putting Jordanians into harm’s way in a war they say is not their own.  

The finger-pointing has given rise to something even stronger: a full-throated antiwar movement.

Rallies in solidarity with Kassasbeh have quickly turned into anti-coalition protests, with participants denouncing the US and its allies as “cowards” who are “using Jordanian blood” to fuel their war against the Islamic State.

Protesters have even gone as far as challenging King Abdullah himself – rallying outside the gates of the Royal Palace and demanding “Abdullah, why are we fighting?” or resorting to more personal jabs such as “Abdullah II, where are you?”

The anti-coalition movement has also flourished online. 

Activists have gathered under an Arabic hashtag on Twitter that translates as #NotOurWar, organizing protests, calling on Jordanian authorities to withdraw from the war against IS, and detailing the civilian deaths caused by coalition bombing runs.  (Note: this is very naive, because ISIS will invade Jordan & these protesters are living in a state of psychological denial to believe otherwise.)

“The hostage crisis has turned public opinion against the war, which was already unpopular to begin with,” says Oraib Rintawi, political analyst and director of the Amman-based Al Quds Center of Political Studies.

Yet perhaps the biggest threat to Jordan’s role in the coalition is posed by Kassasbeh’s family itself.

The pilot’s father, Safi Kassasbeh, has emerged as a sympathetic figure and victim of the conflict. The family has called on Jordan to withdraw from the coalition and has openly questioned coalition leadership over the details surrounding Kassasbeh’s crash-landing.

Kassasbeh hails from the East Bank Bararsheh tribe in the southern province of Karak, the backbone of the Hashemite monarchy’s tribal support, whose members fill the ranks of the military and security services.

Should the Karak tribes move to withdraw their sons from military service or boycott the coalition in protest – as some have threatened in private – the move would cripple the Jordanian Armed Forces and its military and logistical support for the coalition.

In addition to pledging its air force, Jordan has allowed American warplanes to use its airstrips and military bases near its eastern borders as launching pads for strikes in neighboring Syria and Iraq.

The US and its allies have relied heavily on Jordanian intelligence and Amman’s ability to extract information from returning Islamic State fighters, which according to security officials have become a “huge source” of intelligence for coalition operations.

Despite the growing public dissent, Jordan shows little sign of backing down from its war against the Islamic State. According to government sources, Jordanian jets have continued to participate in bombing runs.

King Abdullah vows to stay the course

Abdullah has pledged Jordan’s commitment to fighting religious extremism in public speeches both within Jordan and abroad. In two separate summits with Jordan’s central and southern tribes last month, the monarch sought to convince Jordan’s tribes that the US-led campaign against IS was indeed “our war.”

In fact, Abdullah has intervened personally in the Kassasbeh hostage crisis, reassuring the pilot’s family while following up on government’s efforts to release him.

Yet, as the pilot hostage crisis drags on, anti-war activists say they will not stop until they force the king’s hand.

“We won’t stop at saving Muath, we will continue until we get all the sons of Jordan out of harm’s way,” said Mohammed Abdullah, one of several dozen protesters outside the Royal Palace late Wednesday.

“Jordan will never again spend its blood for the wars of the West.”

(Julie's note- Meanwhile, ISIS seems to patiently await the outcome of this turmoil, but without providint proof of Kassasbeh's life. Is it possible Lt. Kassasbeh tried to escape and was killed in the process? Or, has he just disappeared, altogether?  It seems like evil ISIS would show their prisoner if he were alive. IMO). This hostage situation will backfire on evil ISIS, unless they produce a prisoner exchange.
