Rupert Murdoch owns The Wall Street Journal and Fox (Fake❗) News. Murdoch advised Trump during his first term. They spoke “almost every day.” That didn’t stop the Journal from publishing birthday greetings Trump sent his “pal,” convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump wrote: “We have certain things in common, Jeffrey. A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.” The text is inside the outline of a naked woman, hand-drawn in heavy marker, with two semi-circles for breasts, and Trump’s squiggly “Donald” scrawled below her waist for pubic hair.

Trump denied sending it, claiming, “I never wrote a picture in my life.” Then, the New York Times published six Trump pictures, hand-drawn in heavy marker and auctioned for charity, just as Trump described in his 2008 book, “Trump Never Give Up: How I Turned My Biggest Challenges Into Success.” Trump wrote, “It takes me a few minutes to draw a building or cityscape of skyscrapers, and sign my name, but it raises thousands of dollars.”

Epstein said, “I was Donald’s closest friend for 10 years.” (Michael Wolff wrote about how the two men were each other's best friends❗) 

What “wonderful secret” did the “wonderful pals” have “in common?” Trump said, “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It’s even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

Epstein’s pilot Lawrence Visoski testified that Trump flew on Epstein's private plane, “The Lolita Express,”❓❗ many times. Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino’s Chief Operating Officer, Jack O'Donnell, said Epstein was Trump’s “best friend…they hung out together. Once I came in and the commission inspectors were in my office. Donald and Jeffrey had three women with them, and the commission determined that the women were underaged." O'Donnell told Trump, “It’s not gonna look good, you and Epstein, coming here with these young women." That’s not such a wonderful secret after all.

Former Marine Corporal J.D. Vance either received a poor legal education or he has adopted the Donald Trump attitude toward the constitution which is that of disdain.

I heard J.D. Vance say he would have done the opposite of Mike Pence on January 6, 2021. He would have sent everyone home with instructions to seat the alternate (fake) electors and then come back. If that is the kind of character he has, he should not hold any office and should not represent that he has a law degree.

THE VANCE CATFIGHT — The WSJ editorial board is joining the pile-on over Sen. JD VANCE’s (R-Ohio) comments about “childless cat ladies.”- published in Politico's "Playbook", by Ryan Lizza, Eugene Daniels, Garrett Ross and Bethany Irvine.

In a tough piece posted last night, Paul Gigot and colleagues call the comment “the sort of smart-aleck crack that gets laughs in certain right-wing male precincts” but that “doesn’t play well with the millions of female voters, many of them Republican, who will decide the presidential race.”

They see the speed and breadth of the coverage of Vance’s remark as evidence “that this is Mr. Vance’s first big cultural impression, and not a good one.”

The WSJ editorial board are unimpressed with Vance’s efforts to clean things up on Megyn Kelly’s podcast yesterday (“he wasn’t at all apologetic”), and they come away with this surprising conclusion about the episode: “One possibility is that at some level Mr. Vance really doesn’t respect people who make different life choices.”

And then they move on to attack some of Vance’s other past (👽👺weird) ideas. His proposal that families without children should pay higher taxes is “bad policy” and “bad politics” and would amount to using the tax code “as a political and cultural weapon against people who don’t share his values.”

The editorial gives voice to what’s been a quiet murmur we’ve been hearing from some corners of the right all week: Does DONALD TRUMP regret picking Vance? (Ya'think❓😒😵😮)

The Trump campaign “can’t be happy about having to defend” Vance instead of attacking VP KAMALA HARRIS, the Journal writes. They end with a stinging conclusion about how Vance should start using his wife as a surrogate because USHA VANCE “might help persuade swing voters that Mr. Vance respects women more than his comments have made it seem.”

The piece is a notable escalation of the war within the GOP over the Vance pick. The (WSJ) Journal editorial board has sharply divergent views from Vance on foreign policy and trade and doesn’t have much use for his populist bashing of corporations. RUPERT MURDOCH reportedly lobbied Trump not to select Vance, and Vance allies see this piece as simply the continuation of that fight, with the Journal doing Murdoch’s bidding.

FOXNews grovels for Trump participation in Republican debate

Donald Trump has no reason to single out Megyn Kelly as his reason to consider a boycott of the FOXNews, GOP debate  - but she is the focus of his anger. He obviously doesn't want anymore "gotcha" quesitons about how Donald Trump treats women.

This political debate soap opera created a humbling made for TV moment! FOXNews personality Bill O'Reilly even groveled about "milkshakes" in a frunstrating effort to convince Donald Trump (aka "the chump") to change his mind about not participating on the cable FOXNews GOP candidates debate. Of course, "Cruz to loose" is livid because the tanking debate TV ratings, resulting from Trump's withdrawal, will destroy any Cruz strategies to engage Donald.

FOXNews often creates the news. Yet, now they're terrified about having Donald Trump upstage their own "news event"- the GOP "line up" in the cable news televised debate.  

Indeed, Donald Trump is almost like the reincarnation of PT Barnam. He didn't fall for the "born every minute" cliche. Consequently, FOXNews is now on the defensive. Once again, Donald Trump is controlling the news while the FOXNews venture has been shut down. 

Megyn Kelly is one reason Donald Trump says he's boycotting the FOXNews detabe.  Seems like an excuse to me and others. It's really Donald Trump controlling the news.

Rupert Murdoch, the FOXNews owner, obviously thought putting pretty Megyn Kelly up against Donald Trump as moderator of the GOP debate would push ratings through the roof. Therefore, having Megyn Kelly face off with Donald Trump, would force all the other news programs to cover the story. It was a brilliant FOXNews strategy - ie., force your news competitors to report on you! 

But, so far, it's backfiring because the news coverage threatens to take down the GOP debate. “I don’t like being taken advantage of,” the billionaire businessman and Republican primary front-runner said, repeatedly telling O'Reilly that he'll, instead, hold a veterans event at Drake University, while his GOP rivals debate.

Bill O'Reilly is so arrogant, he even had the audacity to write about the Crucifixition of Jesus Christ, as thought he attended the tragedy on the Via Dolorosa the "Way of Sorrows" in Jerusalem.

But O'Reilly was uncharacteristically groveling with Donald Trump about bartering for "milkshakes", when he came as close to begging the Republican frontrunner to change his mind about his boycott of the GOP debate, scheduled to be broadcasst, of course, on FOXNews. 

This political drama is reducing political discourse to the level of a "survival show" television saga. Rather than discussing policies to frame the future of America, the political commentary is about "tit for tat" ego juggling. Nevertheless, the result of this negative political energy is another marketing strategy by Donald Trump to control every single media news cycle. Unfortunately, it's working. Controlling the GOP debate news isn't costing Donald Trump much money, but it's now going to take a fiscal toll on FOXNews.
