Marjorie Taylor Greene does not represent her constituents
Echo opinion published in the Rome News Tribune, a Georgia newspaper.
Marjorie Taylor Greene is "Cuckoo! Cuckoo!" |
Many thanks to both senators, Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, for adding and fighting for these funds for Northwest Georgia.
No thanks to the immoral Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who voted against us getting these funds. Her purported reason is that she is against earmarks being added to legislation because they may encourage corruption. Frankly, there is nothing corruptible about these much-needed funds.
Notably, Ms. (now divorced) Greene also opposed voting by proxy, a measure instituted by Speaker Pelosi to assist members of Congress to vote in spite of covid. Yet Greene voted against the spending bill by proxy, citing the “ongoing public health emergency” as her reason for not being physically present.
Perhaps those who throw money at the (low life) Ms. Greene’s campaigns, as well as (ugh!) voting for her, may want to reconsider, unless they don’t mind her voting against needed funding for our district. From Paul Culotta, in Rome Georgia
