Opinion echoes call to Dump Trump
Stereo echoes about Trumpty-Dumpty- never Trump.
Democracy remains! The midterm elections seem to show that the Donald Trump magic is pretty well gone. So why does he continue to run? I have a few answers.
First, there’s his megalomania. He craves attention. He must be the bride at every wedding.
And add to that his belief that running for president will protect him from the multiple criminal prosecutions he faces. He hopes that those on the MAGA fringe will protect him from prosecutors and that, if indicted, we’ll face “problems... the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen.”
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said last year that Trump “seemed determined to either overturn the voters’ decision or else torch our institutions on the way.”
But, I believe that on Nov. 8, voters showed that democracy is still important to them. From Carl Lloyd in San Antonio

New Jersey Journal reports: Pollster: The 2022, midterm election in New Jersey was not about policy. It was about Trump. | Opinion
While many voters in red parts of the Texas state have fully embraced Trumpism*, suburban areas that had been solid GOP for decades continue to reject a Republican Party that is fixated on rolling back established rights and peddling conspiracy theories.
San Antonio Express News : Trump again? Oh, great
Former guy Donald Trump announced his candidacy for 2024m “in order to make America great and glorious again.”❓
Using the acronym, he will “make America GAG again.” Small wonder Texans are justifiably reluctant to board the Trump train.

“Donald Trump is acting like a thirteen-year-old,” says Chris Christie
“We’re here talking about really serious important issues and whatever Donald Trump has said for the day today is quite frankly nothing I have any interest in responding to.”
