Donald Trump sends "3D Printer Barbie" press secretary Karoline Leavitt to threaten Americans with deportations!

A dark day in American history:  Impeach Trump NOW

Echo opinion letter published in the Houston Chronicle:

So, if you feel like you are safe from deportation, because you are a citizen, think again. Trump's press secretary (3DPrinter Barbie "Karoline Leavitt") told the media that the administration is "considering" the possibility of "deporting" U.S. citizens.

If you have committed any serious crimes — the seriousness of which is to be determined by the administration — you may find yourself on a plane to the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT), leaving friends and family wondering where you are.

And if you think that the law will save you, consider the fact that the Supreme Court gave Trump just enough wiggle room to "disappear" those immigrants to El Salvador. You should also remember that it was the court that gave the president the "presumptive immunity" to commit such (henious
) acts back in 2024.

The article says that El Salvador Nayib Bukele and Donald Trump scoffed at the idea of sending Kilmar Abrego Garcia back, even though the U.S. Supreme Court ordered the administration to "facilitate" his return. Since when did the word "facilitate" take on the new meaning of "do nothing"? It is disgraceful that the president of our country just sat there and nodded while Bukele said he won't return Abrego Garcia to the United States. As if Bukele had all the power when the Trump administration is paying for this man to be held in El Salvador.

This is a dark day for our country. A very dark day.

American citizens are at risk for Donald Trump illegal deportations! Shades of 1930s Germany

A dark day for American justice and due process.

Nazi Germany nightmare, El Salvadore is a nighmare!

Dark Day for due process:  Protect immigrant rights

Regarding "Trump says he wants to imprison US citizens in El Salvador. That's likely illegal," (April 15): If you feel that you are safe from deportation because you are a citizen, 💭think again Trump's press secretary told the media that the administration is "considering" the possibility of "deporting" U.S. citizens.😵‍💫😡

Jews were "deported"—transported by trains or trucks to six camps, all located in occupied Poland: Chelmno, Treblinka, Sobibor, Belzec, Auschwitz-Birkenau, and Majdanek-Lublin.

Opinion echoes call to Dump Trump

Stereo echoes about Trumpty-Dumpty- never Trump.
Dump Trump

New Jersey Journal reports: Pollster: The 2022, midterm election in New Jersey was not about policy. It was about Trump. | Opinion

While many voters in red parts of the Texas state have fully embraced Trumpism*, suburban areas that had been solid GOP for decades continue to reject a Republican Party that is fixated on rolling back established rights and peddling conspiracy theories.

San Antonio Express News :  Trump again? Oh, great
Former guy Donald Trump announced his candidacy for 2024m “in order to make America great and glorious again.”❓

Using the acronym, he will “make America GAG again.” Small wonder Texans are justifiably reluctant to board the Trump train.
From Greg Nussel in San Antonio, Texas

Democracy remains!  The midterm elections seem to show that the Donald Trump magic is pretty well gone. So why does he continue to run? I have a few answers.

First, there’s his megalomania. He craves attention. He must be the bride at every wedding.

And add to that his belief that running for president will protect him from the multiple criminal prosecutions he faces. He hopes that those on the MAGA fringe will protect him from prosecutors and that, if indicted, we’ll face “problems... the likes of which perhaps we’ve never seen.”

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said last year that Trump “seemed determined to either overturn the voters’ decision or else torch our institutions on the way.”
The Trump brand is sinking fast!

But, I believe that on Nov. 8, voters showed that democracy is still important to them.  From Carl Lloyd in San Antonio

“Donald Trump is acting like a thirteen-year-old,” says Chris Christie

“We’re here talking about really serious important issues and whatever Donald Trump has said for the day today is quite frankly nothing I have any interest in responding to.”
