Thank God for brave law enforcement heroism on January 6th
Two opinion letters from Virginia: January 6, 2021 events happened and those who protected the US Capitol are heroes!
This howling creature who was among the insurrectionists who stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 sure doesn't look like any "tourist" I've ever seen. He's a monster! |
Opinion echo letter to the editor published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch:
I was saddened by the testimony of law enforcement U.S. Capitol Police Sgt. Aquilino Gonell and Officers Harry Dunn and Metropolitan Police officers Michael Fanone and Daniel Hodges at the U.S. House of Representatives' select committee investigation of the Jan. 6 insurrection at the Capitol — and disgusted. Disgusted by self-serving politicians who continue to downplay and deflect the serious, sad and sickening events of that day to further their aims for re-election.
Was the video footage of that day faked? Were the officers lying?
Of course not! The film footage was filmed and broadcast as it happened, in real time. In fact, the four law enforcement officers exhibited true American (and human) virtues, which are lacking in the political naysayers.
And the follow up published on August 1, 2021:
U.S. credibility depends on January 6th resolution: Opinion echo letter to the editor published in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, in Virginia.
The shocking and violent video shown in the U.S. House of Representatives at the beginning of the select committee evaluating the January 6th, 2021 insurrection, and the four police officers' moving testimony, was truly frightening enough for us to find ways to forever assure prevention of such a future threat to our democracy.
Also, all of the individuals having any responsibility for this travesty, whatever their political persuasion or possible leadership role, must now be identified and brought to justice. We must be better prepared for such a possible tragedy if we are to assure our continuing place as the world’s foremost democracy.
America's national credibility at home and abroad depends on it.

Most important, the true patriots of Jan. 6 were not the mobs that stormed the Capitol, but all of the brave officers who defended it and all who were inside..
