Republicans irresponsibly destroying their political brand!

 Echo opinion letter published in the San Diego Union-Tribune

History will remember the wrong minded U.S. Senate Republicans who (hypocritically!) especially those Senators hearing the articles of impeachment (irresponsibly!) contend that #DonaldTrump is somehow innocent (of sedition? ugh!), because they wrongly claim that he did not order the riotous invasion of the U. S. Capitol?

Donald Trump is a bird brain seditionist!

But, the much more relevant question is, could Trump have prevented the January 6th, US Capitol riot? No self-respecting Republican can look in the mirror and deny that all he had to do was say, “I lost the election, congratulations Joe Biden.”  Obviously, Trump did not.

The president, like all lawmakers, swears an oath to “... protect and defend the Construction of the United States.” 

Obviously, Trump did not — #TrumpIsGuilty.
