Donald Trump is morally bankrupt
Evangelical alert*- In Maine Writer's opinion none of the evangelicals are Christians because they are a morally bankrupt cult. In fact, evangelicals do not follow the Biblical teachings described by Jesus. Instead, they carry around Bibles but they do not understand the words written in the Scriptures.
Isiah 58:7 Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.
An echo letter, published in The Spectrum, a Utah newspaper.
The time is far past due for those who profess to be #evangelicals or disengenous cult admirers/followers of Jesus, to "walk the talk."
An opinion letter writer published commentary referring to the "conspiracy of silence" regarding the moral bankruptcy of Donald Trump. In fact, Donald Trump makes a good candidate for Poster Boy for the "Seven Deadly Sins," which are: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy and Pride as opposed to the Christian virtues of Chastity, Temperance, Charity, Diligence, Patience, Gratitude and Humility.
Jesus spoke "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defileth a man." The apostle James said "And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity . . . that it defileth the whole body." Jesus would call out Trump directly on this, just as he did the Scribes and Pharisees for their Hypocrisy and Perjury.
One cannot have it both ways. Most of the Utah Congressional delegation through cowardly expediency, stand condemned in betraying the Christian values they profess. (Thankfully, Senator Mitt Romney showed ethical leadership!)

The same with us, if we are silent and afraid to speak the truth. You don't have to ask, you KNOW what Jesus would do and say as to Trump's tongue. (My mother would have washed his mouth out with soap, as she did mine).
