Echo opinion letter published in Foster's Daily Democrat and New Hampshire newspaper:
Dec. 7 — To the Editor: Isn’t it a commentary on our nation’s progress into total stupidity when we have to fact-check virtually every word that POTUS utters? When we have news organizations that operate in their own bubble of reality, backing up any statement #45 makes, no matter how inane or blatantly, demonstrably, false?
NO, people! It is not normal, it is unprecedented even in political election campaigns- we have never had to verify what the POTUS says to us, the citizens -nearly-every-day!
If that isn’t enough to dismiss a president, I don’t know what is.
