Now, protesters at Republican Senator McConnell's hometown University of Louisville, where he is among the alumni, have publicly demonstrated against him because of his support for fossil fuels. (By the way, where are all those coal mining jobs promised by dumb dTrumpf during his 2016 campaign? I just looked up Cold Peak Energy going at $0.10 a share- yes, that's ten cents a share.)

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, one of President Donald Trump's key allies, joined U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine — a Democrat who was Hillary Clinton's running mate in 2016 — at a bipartisan-spirited event at the University of Louisville on Monday.
The Virginia senator came to Louisville as part of the McConnell Center's Distinguished Speaker Series. University of Louisville President Neeli Bendapudi took a moment to praise the center, which was founded 1991, for providing scholarships to students at McConnell's alma mater who hold varied political beliefs but share a desire to make a difference in their communities.
McConnell introduced Kaine to the crowd but was briefly interrupted by a group of about 10 people who stood up and protested the Republican leader.
"We are constituents," announced one of the people protesting, who also called McConnell out for accepting money from the fossil fuel industry.

A group advocating for climate change showed opposition against the Senator.
