Trump's "con job" ~ echo opinion letter from Indiana
Star Press opinion letter from Indiana
Opinion: As recent events unfold with the 45th president, I am not the least bit surprised about corruptness, but it's only going to get worse for Donald Trump in the coming months.
Frankly, I think Trump truly believed that the ways he ran his billion dollar empire could be replicated in Washington; but that clearly has not been the case.
I am surprised that so many have bought into Trump’s con job that he would be an advocate and hero for the middle class when that has never been in his DNA. Some would suggest, “what about the tax breaks?” which is just another failed version of trickle down economics. What I see is the billionaires getting billions and the middle class getting pennies.
Trump's administration and the US government he hired, as a whole, are corrupt to the core.

Thomas Jefferson said “banks are more powerful than standing armies” and our founders were clear about outside money being funneled into our government.
Unfortunately, that boat has sailed. It appears our Congressmen and the President have gone mad with power and greed and the Supreme Court, who are not Wizards or Gods, but human beings with agendas, have gone against the Constitution and the wishes of our founders and allowed tidal waves of dark money to infiltrate our government.
At this point, I’m not sure how Democracy survives.
Just take a look at the broader picture of politics, basic human needs such as healthcare, and other major concerns such as Global Climate change. Man’s ultimate demise will be due to unadulterated greed.
