My sentiments in an echo ~ Common Sense call from Pennsylvania

It's impossible for me to understand how Republicans are lock step behind a corrupt Donald Trump, and follow his terrible, incompetent and incoherent administration*.

Thank you for this letter to the editor published in The Times Leader, a newspaper in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania:

Bring common sense back to the country

My question is when is common sense going to make an appearance again in our once wonderful country.

Hate and lies have seemed to take its place, and if we get used to it, we will pay for it in the long run.

We have a president who has promised us so much and has given us so little. He said he has the best people. Why does he keep firing them if they are so good?

His plan is to make himself and his family rich and you the working class can go pick cotton for all he cares.

Everything he has done so far, which isn’t a lot for the worker, is to make the rich richer and his robot congress goes right along with him.

I feel sorry for our grandchildren and what this president is leaving them to pay off. He doesn’t worry about debt. How many times was he bankrupt? Well after his tax cut, he doesn’t have to worry. He gave himself a big raise.

If the Democratic party leaders had any sense, they would push for paper ballots in every voting booth. Not too long ago there was exit polls taken, and they were pretty accurate. Now they are so far off, and that is because the machines are hacked and our votes don’t count any more.

Let’s get some decency and common sense back into our lives. We have a dictatorship that worships dictators, so let’s get rid of them before we lose our democracy.
