The Boston Globe is a journalistic crystal ball

Practically all the American media disavowes the bombastic presidential candidacy of Donald Trump, but his entrenched supporters refuse to be swayed by the reality of his message. It's like Trumponian followers are hypnotized by the crystal ball of Trumpisms, being anti-everything. In fact, Donald Trump has no message other than his obsession to build an anti-immigration wall between the US and Mexico, incensed by his delusion about making Mexico pay for the wall. Trumposity claims that if Mexico won't pay for the wastefully ridiculous wall, the Mexicans will risk loosing the money sent by poor families to their relatives, via electronic banking transmssions. Never in the history of civilization has a wall fulfilled purpose that it was built to  sustain. In fact, the history of building walls is, frankly, dismal. Just check the history of the Berlin Wall in Germany, for example. Therefore, since use of reason, historical failures and political shunning haven't worked to deter the Trumponians, The Boston Globe has taken the Trumpisms to a mythical "what if" place, where no jounalism has dared to tread. In fact, The Globe created a mythical front page, assuming Donald Trump is elected - it's a dismal prophesy. Of course, journalists are critical of The Globe's prophetic strategy, but if reality doesn't awaken Trumponians, maybe prophesy will have an impact.

The Globe's Editor's Note:  This is Donald Trump’s America. What you read on this page is what might happen if the GOP frontrunner can put his ideas into practice, his words into action. Many Americans might find this vision appealing, but the Globe’s editorial board finds it deeply troubling. Read our editorial on Page K2 for more on the dangers of Trump’s vision.

American Trumponians clearly need a reality wake up call to show how damaging Donald Trump will be to America and to our beacon of hope for freedom to the "...tired...poor...huddled masses yearning to breathe free... The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

I support The Boston Globe's ability to report on the future.
Although it's risky journalism, it's badly needed because, otherwise, the Trumponians are blinded by fear created by the Donald Trump message.
"I'll get you, my pretty...!" is a Trumponian nightmare! Yet, The Boston Globe is trying to wake up Trumpists and, in doing so, the American people from the prophetic terror, before he consumes us in a swirl of boiling political water.
