Putin's Russia is creating an ugly and dangerous world

Putin's phallic parade.

Putin brought together a disgusting show of military force on May 9th, to mark the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II. Meanwhile, Russia, continues to be aggressive in the Ukraine.

Undoubtedly, Putin is a somber hybrid world leader, a cross between Napoleon and Stalin.

It makes no sense whatsoever for President Putin of Russia to waste his nation's limited human and financial capital on a pompous Victory Day parade, staged to create an ugly image of his nation. While other European nations were remembering the somber 70th anniversary of the end of the horrific World War II, Putin took the opportunity to stage an expensive military parade.

Rather than honor the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II, Putin's ostentatious parade in Moscow on May 9th, was eerily reminiscent of the World War II enemies who infected Europe and murdered millions of Russians in the turmoil.

Compare the black and white historic photograph with the grim 70th anniversary Putin Parade, adorned with phallic symbols of ugly military power.

Putin's "Phallic" Parade

Russia stages massive WW2 parade despite Western boycott

BBCNews reports

Russia has staged its biggest military parade, marking 70 years since victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two.

Thousands of troops marched across Red Square in Moscow, and new armour was displayed for the first time.

Many foreign dignitaries were present, but most Western leaders stayed away, because of Russia's role in Ukraine.

President Vladimir Putin said global co-operation had been put at risk in recent years. His Ukrainian counterpart accused him of justifying aggression.

Russia denies claims by the West that it is arming rebels in eastern Ukraine. More than 6,000 people have been killed since fighting began in April 2014 in Ukraine's Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

It's difficult to  understand how Putin can get away with telling lies about his Ukranian aggression, when 6,000 people have died as a result of his deadly military action.

Putin is a pathetically pompous Russian leader who is preoccupied with his phallic power. Rather than honor the memories of those who sacrificed during World War II, he has contributed to creating an ugly and dangerous world.
