Congress is wasting time rather than legislating - hearings with Secretary of Defense Hagel about the fait accompli Sargeant Bergdahl exchange
Congress should investigate the failed premise for America's invasion of Iraq and show leadership by standing up against National Rifle Association's (NRA) tyranny where our nation's children are dying by gun violence.
Congressional hearings are costly and taxpayers are paying for the time Secretary Hagel is taking to rightly defend the decision to exchange Sargent Bowe Bergdahl for 5 old terrorists held for 13 years without trial in Guantanamo. Nothing will come of these hearings except for muckraking a delicate situation where a young Army Special Forces Sargeant was freed.
