Donald Trump's failed leadership is the best reflection in the Washington DC "reflecting pool" fiasco

Reflecting Pool fiasco sums up Trump’s entire failed presidency
Echo opinion letter published in the San Jose California Mercury News

I’ve become enchanted with all the stories I see about the Reflecting Pool. It’s become so emblematic of our bungler-in-chief that I no longer need to pummel myself with his more reprehensible misadventures.

The once upon a time Reflecting Pool, now a fiasco, has it all: incompetence, ignorance, arrogance, cronyism, demagoguery, paranoia, malicious prosecution, scapegoating, unfounded accusations. In short, the Washington Swamp is no longer a figure of speech. It came to life in 2,000 feet of blooming green algae and peeling blue paint running from the Lincoln Memorial to the Washington Monument.

Donald Trump has a "third-grade" ability to read and comprehend! IOW unqualified to serve

Trump is unqualified- Echo opinion letter published in The Mercury NewsFirst, it was “crooked” Hillary. Now it’s “crooked” Joe Biden.

This bullying and childish repetition underscores an analysis concluding that Donald Trump’s is on a third-grade level, and four-star Marine General Jim Mattis remarking that Trump had “the understanding of a fifth- or sixth-grader.

There are dozens of synonyms for crooked, but “The Donald” can’t manage any of them. Someone with so limited a lexicon, and the lack of intellectual curiosity to accrue an adult vocabulary has no business in the White House.

The world brims with demanding and nuanced intricacies. We need experience, a cool head, not some coddled bubble boy whose first act in 2017, was insulting Australia’s prime minister, and two weeks ago maligning Australia’s ambassador to the United States, Kevin Rudd.

In my opinion, Donald Trump is a very sick man; using the 25th Amendment is the proper way to end his presidency

California opinion echo published in Mercury News - Don’t impeach Trump
use the 25th Amendment!
For the three years Donald Trump has been in office, in my mind there has been no time when we have been free of chaos.

Whatever anyone thinks of Donald Trump, either good or bad, if they spend any time thinking, they must at best believe he is erratic and unpredictable.

At this point, I have no interest in recounting actions he has taken that make him unfit to be president. I must say that I am suffering from serious “Trump fatigue.” Surely others share my feelings.

The thought of five more years of Trump is incomprehensible.

Rather than taking the “impeachment” approach, I believe the more appropriate action should be invoking the 25th Amendment. In my opinion, Donald Trump is a very sick man and using the 25th Amendment is the proper way to end his presidency.
