Donald Trump is unfit to serve any longer. Maga Republicans have a responsibility to remove DJT from office STAT!

It’s time to remove Donald J. Trump because he is a sick old man.

DJT is not well. For his health and the health of our nation, the time has come to invoke the 25th Amendment. DJT is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”

To the editor:  The “president” of the United States is crazy. 

His posts on both his personal and the official X/ accounts are psychotic and delusional. 

While "We the People" are struggling to feed our families and pay our bills, Donald J. Trump is using AI to exhibit himself as George Washington and the Green Lantern. 

Trump poses as a dark hero threatening that an unidentified “THEY” will “NEVER SLEEP AGAIN.” Overnight, he confessed to his stock trading and bragged that his raking in 💲2 billion dollars is good for the country. He has no grasp of what is occurring in Iran. He dismisses any need to discuss nuclear weapons because he claims to have already destroyed them, and he gleefully threatens to bomb Kharg Island, Iran’s crude oil depot.

Among those he challenges is Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and he alludes to Canada becoming a U.S. state. He gloats about the U.S. owning the moon and the importance of taking over the coming elections so that the “Dumocrats” won’t ruin the country. Like a petulant five-year-old, he uses silly names and words to belittle people who stand up to or disagree with him.

DJT’s Supreme Court has shielded him from being held accountable for crimes he commits during his term in office. The Republican majority in Congress is not shielded. Their failure to reign in the Trump term of terror is criminal; they have abrogated their oaths of office to serve as a check and balance in our tripartite form of government by failing to review and approve presidential actions. They are paying the bills for the destruction of our national monuments and buildings and their replacement with gaudy memorials to the worst elected president in history. They are paying the bills for a war that they, as the Constitution requires, never voted for. They are committing a constitutional crime by spending our tax dollars without congressional approval. Craven, cowardly Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, for the second time, has dismissed Congress to avoid taking up a bill, the discussion of which would embarrass them. 

All of DJT’s actions divert the nation’s attention from him being held accountable as an adjudicated rapist and felon, as demonstrated in the unredacted and still unpublished millions of pages of the Epstein papers.

While DJT raves on the internet in the middle of the night, while people starve and die because SNAP and Medicaid have been raided to pay for an illegal war, while the people’s property is razed and our land is plundered for monuments to a madman, our country has lost its standing as the leader of the free world. We all know it, either because we believe what we see or because we know instinctively that our lives are so much worse—and we don’t want to admit that we made this happen with our votes. (Whether or not DJT actually won is a subject for another time.)

DJT is not well. For his health and the health of our nation, the time has come to invoke the 25th Amendment. DJT is “unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.” We, the People, must contact our elected members of Congress* and demand that they immediately call on the Cabinet to act as they are required to under their oaths of office.
