Donald Trump is the most despised man on earth but he decided to purposefully offend Roman Catholics

Trump's hideous pope image shows lack of respect and no decency.

Echo opinion letter published in the Sarasota Florida Herald-Tribune

Although I am not a Catholic, I had deep respect for their leader, Pope Francis, who died on April 21.
Anti-Catholic hideous Donald Trump picture. Although this is an AI generated picture, the image was sent to the public on the Donald Trump social media plataform and by the White House. Denegrating Roman Catholics is a seriously crazy thing to do  Trump must be mentally ill.  Even right wing lunatic conspiracy theory websites would not be stupid enough to generate such a public sacrilege to the Roman Catholics and the Pope.

Understandably, the Catholic world remains in mourning for the beloved pope, who was a genuinely good and enlightened man.

Yet in the midst of this time of mourning, the U.S. president chose to post a fake photo of himself on X dressed in the garb of a pope.

Donald Trump is known for his bad taste, but I would suspect that many psychiatrists would see this behavior as displaying clinical mental impairment.

The indecency of Trump’s action is unconscionable. It would be hard to imagine two things in this world more opposite than the goodness and decency of Pope Francis and the crude vulgarity of Trump.

One can only imagine the angry outcry from the media and the citizenry that would have occurred had former President Joe Biden performed such a stunt.

Lawyer Joseph Welch was famous for having said to notorious Sen. Joseph McCarthy (during the Red Scare hysteria), “Have you no sense of decency?”

It is crystal clear that Trump has none and this latest debauched act demonstrates that he is entirely unfit to serve as president.

Donald Trump should be removed from office, so America might again have a chance of restoring some of its lost dignity.
