Elise Stefanik is obsessed with Donald Trump

 Echo opinion: Stefanik is sacrificing her ambitious integrity for her career. Published in the Daily Gazette 

Elise Stefanik’s job in Congress is to represent we, the people. 

But, her behavior in Congress, introducing legislation to expunge the impeachments of Trump, is getting as erratic as the former president’s (weirdness).

She actually believes the lies about the stolen election and supports the weaponization of our Justice Department.

What is she thinking? (Maine Writer- IMO, Elise Stefanik is obsessed with Donald Trump. She needs counseling....)

Our country is strong because of our Justice Department. It has kept our country free for 247 years, the premise being that no one is above the law.

Biden did not indict Trump; a grand jury did. Biden and Democrats didn’t testify against Trump; his own Republican staff did. Every time Trump opens his mouth, he incriminates himself; Biden and the Democrats aren’t doing it.

Stefanik could have had it all, including a position in a high office. But her continued support of a man who is only interested in himself has changed her into a politician who is also only concerned for Elise, not we, the people. Is her career so important to her that she will ignore the greatest country in the world to support a man who is likely going to prison?

She had the chance to do the right thing for America, and she’s blowing it.  (Maine Writer- No pun intended 😳)
