Trump's cult followers ignore the former guy's #tfg misdeeds and criminal behavior

Echo opinion letter published in The Daily Gazette, in Schenectady, New York.

When confronted with Donald Trump’s misdeeds (and crimes❗), his supporters generally change the subject. 

Trump has been found guilty of sexually abusing journalist E. Jean Carrol and was ordered to pay her $5 million in damages. 

So, I asked why people would continue to support Trump ❓ when he is guilty of sexually assaulting women.

Instead, Trump talked about the Biden’s “lies.” What do Biden’s alleged lies have to do with Trump’s sexual assaults? The answer is “nothing.”

It must be noted that the accusation that President Biden is the “liar-in-chief” comes directly from the “The Republican National Committee” website, a clearly biased source. 

A non-biased assessment of presidential lies published in Forbes magazine compared the lies told by Presidents Obama, Trump, and Biden during their first 100 days in office. The article concluded that Trump told more falsehoods than Biden and Obama combined. Trump is “The Lying King.”❗
