Appeal to Vladimir Putin - stop this Ukrainian aggression
Open letter to Vladimir Putin published in the Dallas Morning News, in Texas.
In lieu of sending this directly to Vladimir Putin, I decided to submit it as a letter to the editor.
Mr. Putin, my husband and I visited your beautiful country six times from 1993 through 1999. We were guests of the Russia Peace Foundation in the city of Saratov. We met a wonderful musical group who visited us later here in Dallas. What wonderful memories we have of those times.
I beg you to stop this evil aggression of yours. Use your power and strength for good of your people and the world. How great it would be if everyone remembered you as a great, thoughtful leader.
We’d like to visit your country again — and have you visit us here in America. My husband and I hope you will have a change of heart and mind.
