Another echo from Pennsylvania- Inept Donald Trump

I'm picking up several opinions from TribLive, a Pennsylvania on line newspaper, affiliated with the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

Inept* is my new favorite word. I admit I had to look it up in the dictionary after the UK (Britain's Kim Darroch**) ambassador said Donald Trump was “inept.” I can understand why Trump would be upset with that comment. That is Trump in a nutshell. But there is still room in that nutshell for many more adjectives.

What’s most upsetting is that the people cheering and chanting for this (tRumpzi) president are probably just like him. I’ll bet they all consider themselves good Christians. Many of their ancestors brought slaves to America and stole land from the Native Americans. And, like Trump, they didn’t fight for America. But they own it and if you disagree with them … go back to where you came from.

I was born and raised here, I fought for your freedom, and I disagree with Trump and all of his supporters. If you are a veteran and support Trump, you should be ashamed of yourself and realize that everything you have fought for means nothing.

I’m glad that most of the people in America do not feel the way Trump supporters do.

*Inept-having or showing no skill; clumsy.

**Britain’s ambassador in the United States has described President Donald Trump and his administration as “inept” and “uniquely dysfunctional”, according to leaked diplomatic memos published by the Mail on Sunday. Ambassador Kim Darroch reportedly said Trump’s presidency could “crash and burn” and “end in disgrace”, in the cache of secret cables and briefing notes sent back to Britain and seen by the newspaper. (Reported in The Guardian.)

“We don’t really believe this administration is going to become substantially more normal; less dysfunctional; less unpredictable; less faction riven; less diplomatically clumsy and inept,” Darroch allegedly wrote in one dispatch.
