The Art of the Lie - Donald Trump and "prejudice de jour"

Donald Trump has a continuing history of many illegal behaviors and has been the target of numerous lawsuits.

He has perfected The Art of the Lie.

Trump has bragged about how to grab women; he has paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy the silence of his mistresses.

Being too clueless to debate critics, he mocks them. Trump’s prejudices toward anyone “different” is legion; his prejudice de jour is racism. Trump meekly defers to — and admires and envies — ruthless dictators. And, most recently: Mueller, in his Congressional testimony, was bound by Trump-inspired DOJ orders to “not elaborate,” thus some say the Mueller testimony was not “exciting,” but it did establish the truth of Trump’s commission of “high crimes” of obstruction of justice. And details were presented about Trump’s cooperation with Russia to get himself elected. But at the end of Mueller’s testimony, unbelievably, DJT still bellows, “Fake News!”

Also amazing: During Trump’s campaign, he often loudly proclaimed: “America (under a black president) is a MESS!! A total MESS!!” Back then, HE hated and trashed America. But now, in his mind, he has made U.S.A. a Disneyland, and HE champions deportation of critics.

What happened to the Republican voters who once valued morality, fiscal responsibility, honesty and intelligence but now sport MAGA hats? And what happened to Republican lawmakers’ spines as they obediently cower, fearing Trump’s lethal Twitter machine

Donald Trump is like a Superfund site: he is damaged beyond reclamation. Urgent: It’s time for Congress to act to save our democracy.
