Criteria for background checks should extend to Donald Trump, based on his unbalanced rhetoric
Echo letter opinion published in Cleveland.com
I’m confused. On Aug. 7, Donald Trump told reporters “I think background checks are important. I don’t want to put guns in the hands of mentally unstable people or people with rage, hate or sick people.”
Unless I’m mistaken, isn’t this the same Donald Trump who stated as a candidate that he "could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?”
Maybe, Donald Trump needs to have a background check?
