Montana point of view - wasteful Border Wall money could build infrastructure

Build factories, not border wall-  An echo opinion published in the Montana newspaper the Billings Gazette

Donald Trump spews border wall without regard for the wasted money it will cost.
Instead of the $5 billion on a wall, why don't we spend some to build factories in Central American countries? Then the people wouldn't need to come here to live, as they would have jobs, income and a life in their homeland. We could have our American stuff built there, instead of communist China, and since we built the factories, we would say "no tariffs."

US corporations have shoes, clothing, etc., made in China, but could switch to Central American factories, built with American money. And we could say a certain amount of their profits need to go back into housing, hospitals, clinics and schools. The workers would be employed, and purchasing products right there in their own place. Build jobs, homes, and goodwill, instead of a wall, huh? A win-win for all parties concerned, right?

And of course, use those people for the construction and all initially, so even before the factories are up, they'd have a job, and a reason to stay there and be happy ever after!
