Republican echo reality check: 2 years to fund a wall and failed

My fellow Republicans our party blew it.

The president, House, Senate, vice president (to break Senate tie vote), nuclear option … all controlled by the Republican Party could not pass legislation for a border wall.

Now, we want to blame the Democrats, news media and whoever else for this failure.

Our party had two years — 24 months — to pass this legislation and it went nowhere.

The president told the whole world via television that he would be happy and honored to own a federal shutdown, if this is what it came down to.

Guess what, Donny boy, this is what it came down to.

Now you and our Republican Party own the shutdown.

Maybe, just maybe, the party did not really want to spend $5 billion on a border wall.
