5 Dead - Hollywood International Airport in Broward County, Florida, United States, on January 6, 2017, near the baggage claim in Terminal 2. Five people were killed while six others were injured in the shooting. About 36 people sustained injuries in the ensuing panic.

49 Dead - On June 12, 2016, a 29-year-old killed 49 people and wounded 58 others in a terrorist attack/hate crime inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. He was shot and killed by Orlando Police Department (OPD) officers after a three-hour standoff. 

17 Dead - On February 14, 2018, Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Broward County, Parkland Florida.
