Donald Trump is tanking idolatry Republicans
All....and I mean....all Republicans are going down with Donald Trump's incompetence. In fact, Republicans, especially Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senate President Mitch McConnell, are putting idolatrous loyalty to Donald Trump ahead of their political judgement. In so doing, they are tanking the Republican party.
Donald Trump summoned the Republican lemmings to adore his failed leadership following the tax cuts for the rich marginal vote in the Congress. Those who showed up for the Trump mass photo-op during this worship of the golden calf experience will also go the Biblical way of the lost tribes of Israel.
According to the Bible, the golden calf was an idol (a cult image) made by the Israelites during Moses' absence, when he went up to Mount Sinai. Hebrews call the incident "The Sin of the Calf".Republicans are replacing the "sin of the calf", with Donald Trump.
Yet, while Republicans worship their cult Trump idol, the Russian influence in US democracy continues to grow.
Clearly, Russia influenced the 2016 presidential election.
Now, Russia's former KGB agent and President Vladimir Putin defined the success of the American economy with the international press (Trump was unable to articulate this concept), while he offered to take a leadership position with North Korean peace talks. Meanwhile, Donald Trump played golf at his Florida, Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago resort.
In fact, Donald Trump continues to lose credibility with the American public and with the international community. In spite of threats to defund the United Nations, the international community opposed Donald Trump's decision to move the US Israeli embassy in Tel Aviv, to Jerusalem.
It was a stupid Trumpian political move, made just because he could.
Trump is a failed leader. Moreover, Donald Trump is the shadow over the Republican party and those who stand by his side are doomed to fail with him.
It's important for Republicans to remove Donald Trump from his position as US president, because he is incompetent to lead. He is more aligned with Russia than with American Democracy. Republicans must regain control of their political party before all of them ~*all of them*~ are tainted by his failed leadership.
