It should be "Saturday Night Live" laughable to see "Gym-Jim Jordan" questioning Attorney Jack Smith. Sadly it is hypocrisy in real time
Echo opinion letter published in the South Florida Sun Sentinel newspaper:
Maine Writer: So hypicritical! Rep "Gym Jim Jordan", the Ohio congressman who is under investigation for failing to report child abuse reported by members of the Ohio State Wrestling team, but now has the audacity to question the integrity of Jack Smith, who was the United States Department of Justice as an assistant US attorney.
To hear them tell it, Mr. Smith replied with a so-called half-truth to one of their questions. A first-year law school student knows that when a witness is questioned by an opposing attorney, a witness should answer truthfully. But the witness should respond only to the direct question being asked. Smith, who’s no stranger to courtroom testimony, did this.
Two things are obvious here. The person examining Smith- i.e., "Gym Jim Jordan", not only didn’t do his homework, but also didn’t have a clue on how to peel back the onion to get more information.
Incompetence by the individual questioning Smith is the issue here — not Smith.
