Evil Putin is a terrorist on record about threats of nuclear war

Echo opinion letter published in the The Tribune Democrat newspaper, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania:

No matter how you see it, 193 United Nations minus one appear to me as being hoodwinked by this so-called leader and president of the current Russian federation, a de facto successor state of the previous defeated Soviet Union.
Paranoid evil Vladimir Putin is a coward who will not sit side by side with his own advisors. Why?

Vladimir Putin, Russian (dictator) president since 2012, in his perceived quest to rebuild his fantasy Soviet Union, (and delusions of being a Czar reincarnated) has invaded Ukraine, a peaceful sovereign country, forcing unquestionable destruction, bloodshed and death to Ukraine – its men, women and children.

All under the eyes of the world advocating (with proof!) the war crimes against Putin and his commander-in-chief of Russian ground forces, Army Gen. Oleg Salyukov, and potentially many others.

Putin went on record threatening nuclear strikes against certain conflicting world countries who in his obscure-mind escalates his war and hinders his ability to takeover Ukraine. (Evil) Putin appears to me as having buffaloed, bamboozled and bewildered leaders of U.N. countries out of meaningful defense beyond nondeterrent sanctions imposed (per Biden) … making them weakened states.

If this tactic works against Ukraine, seemingly it emboldens Putin fulfilling his diabolical mission, threatening with intimidating nuclear escalation to conquer the remaining 14 countries once part of the Soviet Union.

And where does it stop ❓… does this strategy simply carryover to other communist countries seeking world super-power and world-dominance❓❔

Putin appears as an absolute maddened terrorist and war criminal – thinking this as just one reason more the United States has a policy against negotiating with terrorists.
Vladimir Putin is a terrorist. Full stop.

But isn’t that’s exactly what’s taking place?

Christians in Russia must cry for Putin to go!

Stand up against Russia echo opinion published in The Tribune-Democrat in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Maine Writer note:  Ukrainian Catholics are united regardless if they are Orthodox or in Communion with the Vatican.

Flag of the Russian Orthodox Church

Where is the Russian Orthodox Church? Why aren’t they condemning Vladimir Putin? Why are there no bishops, priests and seminarians in the streets protesting? People are being arrested and beaten just for saying the word “war.”
The church should protest such actions.

No Orthodox church in Russia has said anything about the Russian Army killing children, and indiscriminately killing as many Ukrainians as they can. (Meanwhile, many Ukrainians are practicing Orthodox Christians.)

The Russian clergy in their magnificent golden churches stand on the sidelines while Putin is totally destroying a beautiful country.

We have heard that a substantial number of people in Russia don’t believe what’s happening. The Russian clergy need to address this and guide the people to the truth.

Russians are a very religious people; if the Russian Orthodox church would speak out against Putin that would have an impact on the people who support him.

Leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church, it is your calling; it is your duty to support and protect the people. Speak out against the atrocities committed against fellow Slavs. Stop just watching and doing nothing about the barbarous activity in the streets, and speak out against sending unwitting young Russian boys to fight and die for a deranged dictator.

Your silence is tacit approval of what Putin is doing. The blood on his hands is also on your vestments.

Stop this madness.

Donald Trump must learn American history: #TrumpHasNoPlan during the coronavirus

This opinion echo letter was published in The Tribune Democrat, a newspaper published in Johnstown, Pennsylvania:

Donald Trump’s claim that a vaccine to prevent the COVID-19 infections before the end of 2020, will be big and fast like the "Manhattan Project". But, hisambitious statement is just another example to demonstrate Trump's lack of knowledge about American history.

f I were a betting woman, I would wager that Trum has no clue what the Manhattan Project entailed. Yes, it was big, but it wasn’t fast. From inception (1939) when discussions and theorizing got underway, to completion July 16, 1945, the planning took six years. It seemed an eternity to American leaders who feared the Germans were ahead in building a weapon using nuclear technology.

In January 2017, en route to Asia, Trump stopped in Hawaii. He was given a private tour of Pearl Harbor. By all accounts, he had a vague idea of some battle there and asked his then-Chief of Staff John Kelly why they were visiting this place.

The above are just two of the multiple accounts showing Trump's ign
orance about American history. This is not surprising given his aversion to books and inability to read.

Barack Obama, Trump’s bete noire, had a full grasp of American history including the contents of the Constitution. He also spoke in complete sentences, and had a rich vocabulary that never included four letter expletives.

Because Trump ignored the warnings of his own intel and scientists in January, we are “America First” in the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths.

Is it any wonder that the rest of the world pities us?

Donald Trump has zero integrity- he is pitiful....

I don’t like Donald Trump because his behavior is embarrassing.

I didn’t like his hateful and racist insult aimed at four congresswomen to go back to the countries they came from.

I didn’t like the vulgar language he used in that infamous bus interview. I didn’t like his low blow mimicking a reporter with a disability, or laughing at POWs for getting captured.

I don’t like his arrogant, tasteless tweets especially his retweet of a photoshopped picture of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer in Islamic clothing.

I didn’t like on Oct. 3, 2019, when he brazenly called for China to investigate the Bidens.

I don’t like when he lies about not knowing unscrupulous people when there are plenty of pictures thaprove otherwise.

I am ashamed, embarrassed and sad to call this man my president.

On Jan. 23, 2016, in Sioux Center, Iowa, Trump said, “I have the most loyal people, I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters.” What kind of person even makes such an unnerving statement?

When the leader of any country publicly states that he could commit the most heinous crime, murder, and believes he would not lose the support of his loyal followers, how can you not recognize the heart and mind of a dictator? Shame on any American who accepts and encourages such thinking.

Trump has zero integrity. His voters don’t care. Why? Because, their 401(k)s are growing. How does that make America great?
(MaineWriter note - Although some 401 (k) funds are making money, the cruel Republicans want to cut the middle class safety nets that we are all paying for, being Social Security and Medicare!)

It doesn’tmake us great at all. Rather, it makes us pitiful.

Pennsylvania point of view - Trump never served our nation

Donald Trump will never learn!
Trump’s actions put many in harm’s way

Opinion echo letter published in the Johnstown by J.R. Deleva

Friedens Pennsylvania

I hope our president has learned a valuable lesson. By his reckless words and actions over the past 21/2 years, he finally has painted himself, and our nation, into a (failed!) corner.

Unfortunately, his carelessness has put not only himself, but our country and our allies, in a degree of jeopardy that is unnecessary. The tensions in the Middle East have escalated to alarming levels.

Unnecessarily, lives will be put in jeopardy. Soldiers and civilians of many countries will be put in harm’s way.

Ironically, Donald Trump and his family have never served in the defense of this nation. Words have consequences. Maybe he should have this tattooed on the forearm of his tweeting hand.
