Support for President Joe Biden's steadfast leadership

Arizona support for President Joe Biden:  Two echo opinion letters submitted to the Arizona Daily Star and published in Tuscon.com

In this era of unbecoming "gotcha'" politics and name-calling slurs, while others are slinging mud or being investigated by Congress or states attorneys generals, Joe Biden plugs (efficiently) along.
3 big reasons why President Biden wins Arizona voters*

Governing is not dominating the latest news cycle. It is actually not really sexy, but a process of listening to concerns and trying to do the best for the constituents no matter how strong the headwinds.

The manic emotionalism of the previous #TFG's failed presidential administration is not the norm, nor should it be. Unfortunately, many of us are now wired to download the latest, search for the newest, then forget the lessons just learned.

While Joe Biden will never be known as the most exciting of presidents, I know he'd rather be known as the most competent, especially in these trying times.

I'd vote for him again simply because he inherited a dysfunctional administration and a razor-thin Congress. He makes mistakes, but does his best for the country--and not himself.

He's a workhorse, not a showhorse.

Re: the July 29 letter "Biden is simply governing."

"He's a workhorse, not a show horse." Wonderfully stated by letter writer Matt Somers on July 29th. Millions voted for President Biden; now we must rally around him. We must trust his judgement and allow him to move forward with his important agenda. Knit picking about age or past decisions is counterproductive. He exhibits a noble decency, unrelenting stability, and great love of our country. He deserves our thanks and continued support for bringing our country back from the brink of disaster.

Donald Trump: a compuslive public relations hound but the photo-ops are disasterous

Echo letter opinion from Arizona
#Evil Donald Trump wants more violence.
https://tucson.com/opinion/letters/letter-president-trump-wants-more-violence/article_bd8fbb76-a5a8-11ea-ba10-475cdf607794.html
As submitted to the Arizona Daily Star.

Donald Trump's miserably failed photo-op. In fact, Trump held the Bible upside down!
Before he resigned the presidency of the United States, Richard Nixon contemplated using the Army to keep power and ignore the upcoming impeachment vote he was warned he would lose. His historical concern about his legacy in defying the Constitution stopped him.

Donald Trump is different. Trump does not care about his legacy. His staging of a religious Public Relations photo opportunity by forcing his way over the rights of peaceful protesters shows he will do anything for power. Meanwhile, the Republican, under Mitch McConnell, has disparaged the integrity of the US Senate.

And (cult) Evangelicals have greedily luxuriated in the power that Trump gave them, becoming the immorality they profess to fight.

Donald Trump wants violence. By undermining the Postal Service and using the violence as an excuse, Trump is anxiously planing to call martial law when he loses the Electoral College and claim voter fraud. He will then try to use the military to illegally hang onto power.

I hope the military upholds the Constitution and not the (failed) Commander in Chief.
