Mental telepathy does not work to declassify secret government documents!

The 49-page indictment of former guy Donald Trump is packed with gobsmacking (shocking!) revelations about the highly classified and sensitive documents that federal prosecutors say he kept illegally at Mar-a-Lago.

But one paragraph is particularly unnerving.

The classified documents Trump stored included 31 that, it says, “included information regarding defense and weapons capabilities of both the United States and foreign countries; United States nuclear programs; potential vulnerabilities of the United States and its allies to military attack; and plans for possible retaliation in response to a foreign attack.”

Let that sink in. A former president kept documents containing secrets about the world’s most powerful and deadly weapons, casually and loosely stored in boxes “in various locations at The Mar-a-Lago Club — including in a ballroom, a bathroom and shower, an office space, his bedroom, and a storage room.”
In a ballroom? In a shower? Really?
The indictment also included transcripts from an audio recording from a 2021, meeting at Trump’s estate in Bedminster, N.J. Trump discusses an apparently classified Pentagon document about attacking Iran, acknowledging that he had retained “secret” military information that he had not declassified — a flagrant violation of federal law.

“Secret,” Trump says in the recording. “This is secret information. Look, look at this.” He waves the document toward his audience, two book researchers and several former aides, none of whom had security clearance. “This was done by the military and given to me.”

Now, every American, and particularly Republican primary voters, must ask themselves: How can this presidential candidate possibly be trusted to lead our nation if he shows off classified information to civilians as if it’s a hunting trophy?

Trump’s lawyer told CNN that the charges, which the lawyer hadn’t even read at that point, were “ludicrous” and “a crazy stretch.” We encourage readers to decide for themselves. Read the indictment and the transcripts of multiple conversations in which Trump brags about the documents in his possession.

“As president I could’ve declassified it,” he bragged, undercutting any defense that he didn’t realize what he’d done.

“Now I can’t, you know, but this is still a secret,” he continued.

A staffer responds with laughter: “Now we have a problem.”

Trump doesn’t seem to see it that way, of course. He’s maintained his defensive posture, fundraising off the news that his own attorney broke Thursday evening. But the charges are serious.

Trump faces 38 felony charges. Each carries the possibility of a lengthy prison stay. But according to the Washington Post, there are no minimum sentences attached to these charges, so it’s hard to say what would happen if he is convicted.

Several other Republican presidential candidates rushed to frontrunner Trump’s defense this week. “The American people are exhausted by the prosecutorial overreach, double standards, and vendetta politics,” Nikki Haley tweeted.

Mike Pence called it a “sad day” and said he hoped the “issues” would be resolved without “moving forward with charges.”

Sen. Ted Cruz called the federal charges “garbage.”

All before the indictment was even unsealed. Now that the details and transcripts can be read, will that change politicians’ or primary voters’ minds? Maybe not.

“The sense from many Republican voters is that this is all about politics,” pollster Neil Newhouse told the Associated Press.

We believe voters and leaders can rise above politics when our national security, the safety of the armed forces and the basic rule of law are on the line. Now is one of those times.

It won’t happen easily. Trust in media and other institutions is at a low. Many Americans are fed viewpoints by social media algorithms that reflect their existing beliefs. That’s why it’s so important to commit yourself to follow the case carefully.

Step out of your information silos, read the indictment ❗and do some critical thinking. You can be the trusted person who informs your family and community. The country needs nothing less to safeguard our democracy.

Republicans claim to win elections when they suppress minority votes.

Echo opinion letter published in The Journal Times newspaper, in Racine Wisconsin.
January 6, 2021, failed "Stop the Steal"*
insurrection attack on the US Capitol.

Tired of dancing to the tune of rabid vigilantes and enduring the veto of conservative political minorities that are attacking and or dominating our legislatures?

Tired of a right-wing lobotomite (surgically altered humans) rabble inventing a freedom to endanger the majority via their contempt for the common good, public health and democratic institutions?

Tired of being beholden to American insanity?

The worst symptom of the radical breakdown of civic sanity is the methodical, aggressive assault on voting rights.

Until the Trumpzi-fascist disease, both parties routinely renewed the Voting Rights Act. (Once upon a time bipartisanism!)

It isn't (and wasn't) a debatable point until the un-American conservative seditionists understood electoral success was impossible without their thumb on the scale.

They've done everything imaginable to impede or de-moralize non-Republican voters, especially persons of color. They expect we will accept the vote-fraud lie simply because they make it.

When the electorate dumped them, the right promptly subordinated election officials and procedures to their partisan ghouls in 18 states. Their legislatures granted themselves the unconstitutional power to set aside the will of the people if it offended their partisan palates.

The Congress and presidency are federal offices. Easily corrupted states should have no power over them. The majority of citizens must not be elbowed aside by minority conservatives who believe their natural place in life is at the head of the line.

Their Animal House party has tapped its keg and found it dry. All that's left is lying, rage, hysteria and serpent worship as they dance around the fires they've set.

Prosecute American insanity!

Lt. General Flynn betrayed the United States

:"Lock Him Up!"  Those prophetic words were wrongly directed towards Secretary Hillary Clinton but now they are rightly being used to demand accountability from Lt. General Flynn, for his unpatriotic behavior and Russian collusion

Democrats: New documents show Lt General Flynn lied to investigators about Russian trips

CNN-A new letter from the leading Democrat on the House oversight committee, Rep. Elijah Cummings, reveals new information about former national security adviser, Michael Flynn and what he told investigators about his ties to foreign governments when he was interviewed about his security clearance.

According to the Report of Investigation, which Cummings refers to in his letter to committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, Flynn made false statements to investigators about who funded his foreign trips, including a 2015 trip to Russia where Flynn was paid roughly $45,000 to speak at an event in Moscow. According to the letter released Monday by Democrats on the committee, Flynn claimed that his trips were funded by "US companies."

The report stated that Flynn said he "had not received any benefit from a foreign country."

Flynn also claimed to investigators he had no substantial contacts with foreign government officials, saying he only had "insubstantial contact." Flynn was shown sitting next to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the 2015 dinner.

The committee Democrats say Chaffetz must subpoena documents from the White House to determine what the White House was told about these foreign contacts and trips.

"We need to know what the President, Vice President, White House Counsel, and other top officials knew about General Flynn ---- and when they knew it," Cummings writes in the letter.

The request comes after a blockbuster New York Times report that Flynn's lawyer had informed the Trump transition team weeks ahead of the inauguration that Flynn was under investigation for allegedly working for the Turkish government during the 2016 presidential campaign.

The letter also comes the same day that Flynn said he would not comply with a Senate intelligence committee subpoena for information and will invoke the Fifth Amendment.

In the letter, Cummings accuses Chaffetz of defying the interests of the investigation by not subpoenaing the records. Time is ticking as Chaffetz is expected to step down as a member of Congress on June 30.

"In refusing our requests for a subpoena, you have made the same argument as President Trump -- that you believe the White House bears no responsibility for vetting General Flynn for the position of National Security Advisor because he received his latest security clearance renewal under the Obama Administration in early 2016," the letter goes on.

The oversight committee had previously sent a bipartisan request to the White House that it wanted any information into how the Trump transition team vetted Flynn as well as any communication White House officials may have had about Flynn's alleged connects to foreign nationals.

It's impossible to understand how Lt. General Flynn could have made the decision to communicate with Russia after he studied US Army intelligence. His unpatriotic action seems to have been directed.  In myopinion, Flynn was following orders from the Tump campaign to communication with Russia.

As a result, it's high time to lock him up! #Seriously!
