Donald Trump and maga Republicans are destroying American icons and the principles of our democracy

Donald Trump is a miserable creature who mocks American principles: Published in the Scranton Times-Tribune newspaper.

Donald Trump hosted an ugly and violent wrestling game for America's 250th, denigrating the White House into a quasi Roman Colosseum.

Echo opinion letter to the editor: His name may be gone from the Kennedy Center, but the stench and rankness Donald Trump has visited upon our presidency and White House will take some time to be eradicated.

He has turned the White House into a latter-day Palace of Versailles, decadent gold everywhere, a testament to his garishness. The recent UFC fight reminds us of the bread and circuses of the Roman Colosseum, complete with the violence and the corruption.

In some kind of perverse, reverse karma, Trump is president during the 250th year celebration of our country’s founding on the principles of the rule of law and the ideals of the Constitution, principles he no more believes in than the belief in the tooth fairy.

Message to Republican maga cult groupie Senator Susan Collins- it is time to "do something"!

Message to all 🐘Republicans especially to Maine Senator Susan Collins.

Senator Collins has more seniority than practically anybody else in the House and Senate; but she is now full cult maga in a frozen kowtow position of fealty to Donald Trump. She is "always concerned but never courageous", she will not criticize Trumpzi-ism.
A message to all sane 🐘Republicans from Gianl1974 on X/ formely Twitter:
  • He pardoned 1,600 violent criminals. You said nothing.
  • He bulldozed the East Wing. You said nothing.
  • He interfered with the release of the Epstein Files. You said nothing.
  • He took over the Kennedy Center and renamed it after himself. You said nothing.
  • He accepted a 💲400 million airplane as a personal gift. You said nothing.
  • He threatened Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Greenland, Venezuela, Colombia, and Brazil. You said nothing.
  • He tariffed just about everyone but Russia, causing inflation and instability worldwide. You said nothing.
  • He attacked Iran, a nation, during mediated negotiations. You said nothing.
  • His ill-conceived war killed 175 children on day one. You said nothing.
  • He alienated and insulted our allies. You said nothing.
  • His ICE Army terrorized and murdered U.S. citizens. You said nothing.
  • He committed murder on the high seas. You said nothing.
  • He co-opted the Justice Department and directed it to prosecute his political enemies. You said nothing.
It’s time for 🐘Republicans to start talking❗

Donald Trump and maga Republican enablers desecrating America's heritage: Trump was not elected to be a dictator!

This message will probably be a surprise to Donald Trump, but, just so he knows, no one hired him to be a despot decorator in chief.
Echo opinion letter published in the Reading Eagle in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Donald Trump is a convicted felon guilty of 34 felony counts❗

Trump's takeover of that position has had disastrous results: examples include paving the iconic Rose Garden to hold umbrella tables, gilding the Oval Office to imitate a Russian palace, tearing down the East Wing of the White House to add a billion-dollar Louis XIV ballroom, painting the once-elegant Reflecting Pool a swimming pool blue so it will no longer reflect and now wanting to put a coat of white paint on the historic, granite Eisenhower Executive Office Building. (Painting stone now means painting it forever.) We don’t yet know what he intends to accomplish in the Kennedy Center, but past performance indicates it will likely be supremely garish and outrageously costly.

After stealing health care and feeding programs from Americans and people around the world, he’s spending billions of taxpayer
💲dollars on a war of choice and hideous vanity projects.

Remaking our nation’s capital into his own image will remind future generations of what happens when unchecked narcissism reigns, truly a gut-wrenching prospect.

Donald Trump and maga Republicans must end the retribution campaigns causing serial public relations disasters for the White House

‘Awful Week❗’ Chris Christie Absolutely Wrecks Trump Over Primetime Speech, Kennedy Center Renaming, Rob Reiner Reaction and More❗ Echo article published in Media-Ite/YahooNews,  by Joe DePaolo.
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie absolutely wrecked President Donald Trump over a variety of controversies in what the ex-governor dubbed an “awful week.”

Kicking off a roundtable segment Sunday on ABC’s This Week, Jonathan Karl threw to Christie for his take on the plan to rename the Kennedy Center after Trump, the president’s widely-criticized reaction to the killing of Rob Reiner, a primetime address which failed to move the needle, and more.

“Even by Trump standards, this was an erratic, chaotic week,” Karl said. “Renaming the Kennedy Center, the stuff he did at the White House, the prime-time speech. What’s going on
❓”

“Merry Christmas to you, too, Donald Trump,” Christie said, tongue-in-cheek. “Look, this is a pretty strange week. Just think about it. He sends out that disgraceful post on the murder of Rob Reiner* and his wife Michele. Then he puts his name on the building named after an assassinated president. Then he gives a frenetic, wildly chaotic, national TV speech filled with inaccuracies
🤥, and really sounded like he was yelling at the American people, because they don’t get how great he’s done so far🤥 🙄. And then he puts these plaques out underneath the presidential pictures he’s put on the colonnade, filled with things that you could tell just from reading that he wrote them himself.”

“Read like Truth Social posts,” Karl said.

“It did,” Christie concurred.

Furthermore, the former governor made clear that if Donald Trump continues along the current trajectory, he and his party will soon pay the price.

“Look, he does all of this, Jon, in just a week where 60 percent of the people in the country say the economy is no better under him than it was under Joe Biden,” Christie said. “The war continues to rage on in Ukraine that he said he was going to settle in 24 hours. And [Vladimir] Putin continues to manipulate him to deteriorate the 80-year NATO alliance. And twice now, in the past month, you’ve seen Republicans break from him on Capitol Hill, on both the Epstein files and ACA subsidies, to sign discharge petitions to repute both Mike Johnson and Donald Trump.
“It’s not a strange week it’s an awful week❗” Christie added “And Donald Trump better wake up to the fact that going to Rocky Mount, North Carolina [to deliver a speech], is not going to solve his problems, and that he better start solving the American peoples’ problems or our party is going to have a big problem come November.”

*Nearly two-thirds of Americans believe Donald Trump’s social media post and subsequent comments about the killing of actor-director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were “inappropriate,” according to a new YouGov poll released Friday.
“YouGov showed Americans Trump’s post — as well as social media posts about Mr. Reiner by several other politicians from both parties — and asked what they thought about it,” YouGov stated in a post online. “Americans weren’t fans,” the post continued. “When shown a screenshot of it, 72% of Americans say Trump’s post is inappropriate, and just 17% say it is appropriate.”
